The chip set has worked perfectly for our Blackjack and Poker Nights. The weight of the chips is perfect and the material they are made with is very resistant, therefore we don't have to worry about dropping them or something like that. The case is very classy, although we already scratched it the first night by putting it in the trunk, therefore it's material is not as resistant as it looks. The cards are very good, and the fact that it has a dealer button is very neat for the purpose of the chip set. Excellent price, I would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to start with a good chip set and is not looking to spend a large amount of money.

I bought this item and had it express shipped to my cousin's house for a family poker tournament the day before Thanksgiving. I bought the 500 chip set so there would be enough chips to accommodate the entire family. This chip set arrived missing 200 (red) chips! We had to get creative to have enough chips for everyone to play. With only 300 chips and 3 color combinations it was not at all what I had in mind when I purchased this product. I was satisfied with the chip weight and case. Just wish the set wasn't missing the most important component; the chips!!!!

Decent poker set. They weight of the chips are acceptable. The cards are worthless. I bought plastic Da Vinci cards to replace them. The case is a bit flimsy. I do like that this set includes markers for the Little Blind and Big Blind in addition to the Dealer marker.

Chips were uniform in size and weight. I didn't notice any smudges on the designs. The extra room in the case for each row of chips allows one to flip through the chips, quickly counting out the required number. I substituted Bicycle brand playing cards, since I prefer them. With all chips in place, the case is heavy. I don't think I would carry it far by the handle alone. Overall I'm pleased with the quality of this set and do recommend it.

False Advertising

I got this in the mail just today. After opening the box, I found that the green chips are actually a dark blue (as other reviewers have said), but I didn't really mind, and they had good weight so I didn't mind even more so. But why I'm giving this a 2 star rating is because it is FALSE ADVERTISING! In the box, I only got the "metal" case and the poker chips... nothing else! No "dealer button, big blind button, little blind button and 2 decks of playing cards" as advertised.

If that wasn't bad enough, upon opening the "metal" case I found that the bottom had a decent felt which is good for me, and a top with grey foam. Problem is, the felt on the bottom was misplaced and you can see the wooden supports that make up the interior of the "metal" case under the felt. Then, when I filled up the case with the chips, I found the handle to be made of silver-painted plastic, which was also hollow. Upon lifting the filled box (no cards or buttons) the "metal" that the handle was connected to bent apart from the whole case like a stiff plastic (so the whole exterior of the box may be made the same). In other words, I can't confidently hold the case from the handle in fear that the whole thing will fall to the floor.

SUMMARY:
If you only want a cheap wood/plastic/"metal" chip case, some decent chips (the best part of the product being the chips), and nothing more, then buy this product. Otherwise (if you want cards, buttons, a good case, etc.)... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! IT IS FALSE ADVERTISING!

*********UPDATE*********
Note: The case also came with keys to lock the two locks on the outside of the case, but not only do they look like they were just cut out of some scrap sheet metal, they don't work! Another reason not to buy this product...
