I love it. Was worried it wouldn’t be able to withstand weight of all of the chips, but it seems sturdy. Very slick design too. Looks great as a display piece. Very happy.

In my opinion, this is the only civilized way to store your chips. It uses the same clear trays of 100 chips that are used in every casino poker room, which both looks professional and helps you organize your different denominations of chips. It looks great, it's practical, and it's better than any home-game alternative. I've seen some questions and concerns regarding whether this is strong enough, and I'll admit, when you look at the black plastic handle part you wonder whether it will do the job. But I believe there is a metal frame inside that plastic, because it's plenty strong. I have loaded this thing completely full, 1000 chips, with the 14g Monte Carlo Poker Club chips, and carried it around with no problem. Those chips are about as heavy as you would possibly use; more expensive real clay chips are more like 9g each in the same volume. I have infinitely more confidence in this case holding up than I would with an aluminum case (which I also have) carrying 1000 heavy chips without busting a clasp or the handle. And this looks better. The only logistical issue I've run into with this case is that if you fill it up completely, there's not really a spot to carry decks of cards and a dealer button. That's only an issue if you are transporting it and want to carry everything easily, it's not as much of a problem at home. If you leave out one tray of chips (so carry 900), you can fit two boxes of cards and a button. If you leave out two trays (carrying 800), there is enough space to fit one of those plastic two-deck carrying cases that come with decent cards, along with a button. Or you can fill it up and carry your cards and button separately. Bottom line, if you are buying (or have) a set of 500 or more chips, this is the way to store them. Buy your chips in bulk without a case, and buy this case.
Smaller than I expected. Filled with 1000 11.5 gram claytec "dice" generic chips this thing has some weight to it. Feels solid... even with only two screws holding in the handle portion. Overall, pretty happy with it.
